AI can Help Improve Business Outcomes
: CEAI@Brunei and Al-Huffaz Management forged partnerships to develop AI projects in Brunei
Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei , 19 February 2022 – Brunei Entrepreneurs, Startups and Innovators now are being given the opportunity to take advantage of digitalization and develop their own AI prototype systems. This opportunity was unveiled as part of the event called Business Exploration & Opportunities: AI for Young Entrepreneurs. This event was organised by Al-Huffaz as the main organiser, along with its co-organiser : Darussalam Enterprise (DARe) on 19 February 2022 . This event took place at the DARe Auditorium, D & T Building, Brunei Darussalam and graced the Guest of Honour, Mr. Shaun Philip Grosse, the Deputy High Commissioner of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam.
Mr. Mukhriz Mangsor, the Programme Director for CEAI Brunei in his address urged the entrepreneurs to adopt AI right here in their own country through the Applied AI programs offered by CEAI@Brunei. This program helps Bruneians to build, own and deploy AI prototype for commercialization purposes based on their own competencies and domain specialization without the need for coding or programming.
“The analytical, predictive and prescriptive aspects of AI provide companies with real time business intelligence, ROI calculation of investments, business planning strategy for profitable and impactful outcomes,” Mukhriz explains.
He adds, “AI can be applied in almost any area of work to assist humans to augment the intelligence and prescribe possible solutions by analyzing large amounts of data for better decisioning.”
Mr. Mukhriz also highlighted that currently, there are 3 AI digital assets in the making, proudly made in Brunei by local Bruneians, ranging from education, logistics and investment sectors – that come with special emphasis on Islamic values and the UN SDG 17 goals.
CEAI@Brunei is pleased to support and complement every stakeholder in Brunei Darussalam in democratizing the development and the use of AI in an ethical way. .
CAAI Cohort 2 is now underway, and registrations are now opened for Cohort 3 from now till end-March 2022.
