Kota Bharu, Kelantan, 31 March 2023 – MyFinB Group, in collaboration with the Centre for AI Innovation (CEAI) Malaysia and Koperasi Arash Jaya Kelantan Berhad (KORAYA), is pleased to announce the official launch of CEAI@Kelantan. The initiative aims to drive the adoption of smart technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), to boost productivity and efficiency in key industries in Kelantan.

CEAI@Kelantan will offer various training programs, including workshops, seminars, and online courses, to educate individuals, businesses, and educational institutions in Kelantan on AI and related technologies.

KORAYA, as the local co-organizer of CEAI@Kelantan, will be an essential partner in driving awareness of the initiative within the Kelantan community. “We are proud to be part of this collaboration, as it will enable us to provide our members with access to new technology and resources that will drive business growth and innovation,” said Mr Nik Mohd Nasrudeen, Board Member, KORAYA.

CEAI believes that the construction industry in Kelantan is a key sector that can benefit from the adoption of smart technologies such as AI. Builders and contractors face challenges such as cashflow management, the high cost of labor, the need for more efficient project management, and the need for more accurate planning and design. For instance, AI can help builders and contractors in Kelantan overcome some of their challenges, including improving cashflow position, project management deliverables and reducing errors, ultimately leading to more efficient and cost-effective operations.

In addition, AI can be used to analyze data on property values, market trends, and consumer preferences to inform decisions on property development projects. This can help developers to identify profitable opportunities, reduce risk, and make better-informed decisions. AI can also be used to manage and optimize building operations, such as energy consumption, maintenance, and security.

CEAI@Kelantan will help to bridge the digital divide in Kelantan and support the region’s economic growth by providing access to AI education and training. The initiative aims to enhance Kelantan’s competitiveness in the digital economy and support the region’s drive towards becoming a smart city.
