Melbourne, Australia, 21 November 2023 – In a groundbreaking collaboration, Sharad Patel, Managing Partner of CEAI@Melbourne and Founder of Skitre.AI, has successfully concluded a transformative two-week engagement with Prof Nazri and the CEAI Global team. This collaboration has led to the creation of Skitre LIFT, an AI-powered tool that measures the impact of student learning outcomes, recommends personalized pathways, and connects learners with a global network of experts and mentors.
Sharad Patel, reflecting on the collaboration, stated, “This trip culminated in a highly successful venture, establishing seamless alignment between Skitre.AI and CEAI’s initiatives, particularly the integration of their talent development AI engine, LIFT, with Skitre Dojos. Skitre LIFT will provide unique and exceptional learning value to young graduates and professionals.”
He continued, “My journey with CEAI began as a student of the inaugural batch of the Certificate in Applied AI (CAAI) program in 2020-21. The foundational training inspired ideas to use AI for skills practice and feedback loops, leading to the successful commercialization of the prototype developed during the CAAI program.”
During his visit to Malaysia, Sharad engaged in impactful discussions with the CEAI team, resulting in the design of SkitreLift dashboards, integration of AI scoring, skills mapping, and the creation of customized reports. Learners can now convert soft skills into readable scores, predict outcomes of skills enhancements, and personalize learning action plans.
Participating in focus group discussions, presentations, and program deliveries for the YCIO program, Sharad interacted with dynamic teams at IDO (Institute Dato Ann) and demonstrated Skitre tools and platforms to young entrepreneurs and professionals in Johor Bahru.
Sharad shared, “The highlight of my trip was the privilege of meeting the dynamic teams at IDO, where Skitre tools and platforms were demonstrated to young entrepreneurs and professionals in Johor Bahru. Subsequent interactions with SUNWAY University and UTAR resulted in an exciting opportunity for Sharad to invite 100 graduates in both universities to participate in a pilot program for Skitre.AI over the coming weeks.”
Sharad also engaged in discussions with business leaders and CEAI industry partners, exploring avenues for using Skitre.AI to train professionals from diverse backgrounds such as healthcare, legal, and accounting, enhancing their essential skills.
The collaboration reached its pinnacle at UPM (Universiti Putra Malaysia), where Sharad officially rolled out Skitre.AI with participants of the CEAI YCIO program. He expressed profound gratitude for the opportunity and learning received through CEAI, affirming that the trip exceeded expectations and reinforced that Skitre.AI and SkitreLIFT strategically align with CEAI initiatives.
In conclusion, Sharad emphasized that the collaboration offers a partnership model complementing efforts to enhance future-readiness in youth.
