Young CEO Programme Launch in Cambodia

: The Centre for AI Innovation Launches Young CEO Program in Partnership with Sofinaa, Emaan Foundation Cambodia and Emaan Catalyst Community

Phnom Penh, Cambodia, 16 January 2023 – The Centre for AI Innovation (CEAI) is proud to announce the launch of its Young CEO program, a unique initiative that aims to empower young students in Cambodia with the skills and knowledge they need to become future leaders.

The program will be held in partnership with Social Finance using Applied Analytics (Sofinaa), a leading organization committed to fostering sustainable development and social impact in Cambodia, as its impact partner.  Emaan Foundation Cambodia (EFC) will serve as the country education partner and Emaan Catalyst Community (ECC) – a Singapore partner focusing in building the capacity and sustainability of Cambodian NGOs such as EFC.

The Young CEO program focuses on the three key capitals of financial, social, and intellectual capital. It is designed to teach students how to improve financial capital through social impact and how to improve intellectual capital through self-driven leadership. The program will feature 18 global leaders who will share their business strategies and leadership styles to help students achieve these three capitals.

The Young CEO program will teach students how top business leaders make their money, how they behave, how they think and act, and how students can achieve financial, social and intellectual capital. The program will include workshops, mentorship opportunities, and will also include problem-solving sessions that will help students think out of the box and develop the X Factor skills they need to become successful leaders.

“We are excited to be launching this program in partnership with Sofinaa, Emaan Foundation Cambodia and Emaan Catalyst Community, said Prof M Nazri, Founder / Chairman of CEAI. “Our goal is to empower youth to become global innovators and effective leaders by providing them with the tools and resources they need to develop their social, financial and intellectual capital. We believe that by doing so, we can help to create a more equitable and prosperous future for all.”

One of Sofinaa’s Co-Founders, Mentor for Young Global Innovators (YGI) and Young Women in AI & Technology (Y:WAIT) initiatives under CEAI, Mrs Patrizia De Sousa, said “We are proud to be a part of this program and to be working with CEAI and Emaan Foundation Cambodia to provide young students with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed in entrepreneurship by achieving financial, social and intellectual capital.”

Emaan Foundation Cambodia’s Chairman, Mr Sales Salas, said “We are incredibly excited to be a part of this program, which will also empower young students in Cambodia to positively impact their communities and drive economic growth in the country.”

Emaan Catalyst Community’s Executive Director, Mr. Hafiz Othman, said “As a community-based organization, we understand the importance of providing young people with opportunities to foster their ability to connect, innovate and create opportunities for themselves and others based on social, financial and intellectual capitals.”

The Young CEO program will begin accepting applications in January, with the first cohort of students set to begin training on 15 January 2022. For more information and to apply, visit the CEAI website. www.ceaiglobal.com/ygi
