AI Technologies Set to Change Teaching Approaches
: Need to rethink and do things outside the box to deal with changing expectations
Singapore, 12 Dec 2023 — The Centre for AI Innovation (CEAI), the social innovation arm of MyFinB Group, is thrilled to announce the commencement of its groundbreaking Personalized Adaptive Learning (PAL) Pilot Programme that explores the impact of AI on student learning.
The PAL Pilot Programme addresses the challenges faced by educators and parents in tailoring learning experiences. It aims to simplify the process of adapting education to individual needs, leveraging AI-generated insights to optimize student learning outcomes. By offering a practical and hands-on approach to AI technology, the program seeks to empower educators and parents globally, transforming traditional education and fostering a dynamic learning environment. The PAL pilot strives to solve the pain points of personalization in education, making it more effective, accessible, and responsive to diverse learning styles.
Specifically, educators often struggle to tailor teaching methods to diverse learning styles, hindering personalized education. At the same time, parents face challenges in understanding and supporting their child’s unique learning needs, affecting home-based learning experiences. To sum it up, there have always been the issue of limited resources and inefficient allocation hinder educators’ ability to address individual student challenges promptly, impacting overall learning outcomes.
Key Highlights:
1. Global Exploration: CEAI has opened the PAL Pilot programme to 50 educators and parents from 14 different countries. Sponsored credits will be provided for the analysis of one individual learner (anonymously) using AI.
2. AI-Generated PAL Insights: Leveraging cutting-edge AI technology, CEAI seeks to generate PAL insights, showcasing the capacity of technology to optimize student learning outcomes.
3. Contributing to Global Advancements: Participants, including educators and parents, will contribute to the global development and refinement of personalized learning solutions by providing valuable insights and feedback.
4. Cost-Free Participation (Phase 1): The PAL Pilot Programme is sponsored in the beginning phase to enable parents and educators to have a good grasp of what AI can do for their children or students based as a start. They will then have the premium option to upscale or request for more customised features ie based on specific requirements.
5. Simple Process: Participants are required to upload any student/child performance records (minimum 1 page), with AI analysis results provided within 24 hours.
6. Practical Experience and Global Exchange: The program offers practical experience with AI technology and encourages a global exchange of perspectives among educators and parents.
7. Program Timeline: The first phase of the program is scheduled to be completed by January 2024, showcasing the efficiency and impact of AI on education.
8. Terms and Conditions: The pilot is subject to specific Terms and Conditions, accessible upon confirmation of participation. It is limited to a specific use case and not designed for institution-wide or large-scale implementation at the pilot phase.
