What Organisations Are Most Concerned About in 2026?
CEAI Global warns that business resilience, declining confidence, cybersecurity and technological disruption are dominating boardroom priorities.
SINGAPORE, 22 January 2026 – Organisations entering 2026 face mounting pressure to protect profitability, manage uncertainty and remain competitive amid rapid technological and geopolitical changes.
PwC’s 2026 Global CEO Survey, involving 4,454 chief executives across 95 countries and territories, reveals that only 30% are confident about revenue growth, compared with 38% in 2025. Furthermore, 56% report no significant financial benefits from AI investments.
Cybersecurity presents another major concern. The Allianz Risk Barometer 2026, surveying 3,338 risk experts globally, ranks cyber incidents first at 42%, followed by artificial intelligence at 32%, with business interruption third.
Meanwhile, the World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report 2026 identifies geoeconomic confrontation as the leading immediate global risk, reflecting mounting concerns over trade restrictions, geopolitical tensions and supply-chain vulnerabilities.
Prof Dr M Nazri Muhd, Group Executive Chairman of CEAI Global, commented:
“Business leaders must rethink resilience, profitability and competitiveness while transforming technological uncertainty into opportunities through disciplined innovation and strategic execution.”
CEAI recommends integrating scenario planning, AI-driven decision systems, cybersecurity safeguards and measurable productivity initiatives into organisational strategies.
Its Learn–Use–Create approach encourages institutions to develop practical capabilities, customise AI solutions and progressively establish proprietary technologies.
Over the next 12 months, CEAI anticipates greater boardroom emphasis on cost optimisation, risk monitoring, workforce adaptability and investments delivering demonstrable returns.
In 2026, organisational success will depend increasingly on anticipating disruption rather than merely responding to it.
